B. Tech. in Biotechnology (4 years/8 semesters)

Admission Eligibility:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale.
- Must have taken PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in both XI and XII (or equivalent)
- Minimum aggregate GPA of 2.0 or Aggregate 50% in percentage scale
Admission Schedule:
Formal Admission takes place in July - August for the Fall Term.
Selection of Candidates:
Selection of candidates is based on:
- Scores on the KU Undergraduate Admission Test (a two-hour test to access proficiency in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics), and
- Merit of academic attainments up to the higher secondary or intermediate level
- Personal interview
B.Sc. in Bioinformatics (4 years/8 semesters)

Admission Eligibility:

GRADUATE PROGRAM
M. Tech. in Biotechnology (2 years/4 semesters)
Admission Eligibility:
Candidates who have completed 4 years Undergraduate/ Bachelors' degree with minimum 2.0 CGPA or 50% in aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Those from 3-years undergratuate programs in any basic science field of study will be required to take a 1-year bridge course which can be taken at the department.
